Discussion Paper seeking input to Whistleblowers Protection Legislation

Consultation is now closed.

The purpose of this Discussion Paper PDF (110.2 KB) PDF (110.2 KB) is to seek input from the public regarding the appropriate whistleblower legislation for the Northern Territory. This Discussion paper outlines:

• the background to the proposal;
• similar legislative schemes in other jurisdictions; and
• the matters about which the Working Party is seeking comment and information.

The paper is not intended to limit comment. The Working Party wishes to receive information and comment on any issues that participants consider relevant.

Due date for public submissions to the Working Party is 30 August 2004.
