The Northern Territory Law Reform Committee (the Committee) has released a Discussion Paper regarding consent for sexual offences.

Through this Discussion Paper, the Committee is seeking the views of professionals, agencies and individuals in the Northern Territory and other jurisdictions on the issues of consent including consideration of self-induced intoxication for sexual offences in the Northern Territory. The closing date for submissions is Friday 30 June 2023.
