Proposed Variations of Conditions of Liquor Licence – Barkly Region

The Northern Territory Liquor Commission is conducting an own initiative inquiry into the supply of takeaway liquor in the Barkly Region.

Pursuant to section 33 (2) of the Liquor Act (“the Act”) , the Commission has given written notice to licensees of the proposed variations relating to takeaway trading hours and takeaway limits throughout the Barkly, and the reasons for the proposed variations.

Licensees have been invited to submit a response to the proposed variations within 28 days of the notice.

On receipt of submissions, the Commission will make a final determination and provide written notice as required by section 33(3) and (4) of the Act.
